The gorge is amazing red jagged cliffs we walked down on the pebbled floor of the gorge. To get to the gorge there are many steep steps. It is an amazing sight with tall gum trees & birds. Go in the morning before it gets too warm.
At the end of the gorge there is a steep road to walk back, on about 20 minutes.
Or you can park at the end of the gorge & walk in
Alligator Gorge ist einen Ausflug wert! Ging über Stock und Stein, zeitweise schlecht markiert, war jedoch eine sehr schöne Wanderung und glücklicherweise hauptsächlich im Schatten!
Great circuit loop hike, with gorgeous scenery, I would be cautious though, and bring boots suited for a light hike as a lot of the hike is on very rocky ground and can tend to be wet and slippery. It does involve climbing over some fallen trees and there is an obvious route but not a set path. But I enjoyed the hike and it was not extremely difficult, excluding the rocky ground.
Great walk did the 2 hour and the 4 hour circuit on consecutive days. Interesting rock formations (sand stone) and flora
This is the second time we came, 1st time gouge was full off water rocks where slippy as
