I love This sanctuary for several reasons. The first thing without doubt is that I do love the people here who show great love and passion both for the elephants and volunteers here. Especially Yan, a Swedish volunteer and tour guide who has stayed here for more than 19 years. He is knowledgeable,handsome,adorable and thoughtful. During the days when we stayed together he gave us a lot of time to spend with the elephants. He taught us how to make sugarcane for the elephants，how to take a bath for the elephants and so forth. And when we took a break and sat down on a chair he would tell us a lot about the story behind them as well as their living habits. I will never forget the thought provoking words he told us: Every animal come to the world for a purpose. Just let elephant be elephants. Yan we miss u a lot And the second thing is that we love the elephants here. In this sanctuary elephants are free from heavy work, entertainment for human and abuse. I love to see them roaming freely in the morning and playing water in the pool. For the several days we spent there we took care of an elephant called Mae khan，Who has been hurt but still trust ppl. If you wanna go for a visit to Chiang Mai then this sanctuary is a must go place. Will definitely come back again. Oh another thing is that we hope that ppl from the office can tell things to Yan in advance so that we can take slow tempo and never rush. It is amazing experience at Rantong that i learn a lot here not only deepen understanding elephant ,but kind person. I stayed here for nearly one week. more time here ,more feeling you have. Yan is a outstanding project leader who is informative,funny,smiling. beside Yan,I also know many new friend.Such as Eggie who love doggy much and cook well. Pumpp who are willing to share thing of Thailand if u have any question. Rantong is located in the countryside where local people are very nice ,smiling to you. The countryside is fulled with peace ,slow life,which give you more time and space to feel with heart. My project leader treat us as his good friends.we love to listen stories told by him. Mandy and I were so moved because he maked a party for us on the final day that he invited Mr.T who is the founder of Ran tang.That was unforgetable happy time we talked ,sang ,dance. For me,Yan is wise man who know what is the purpose of life. Without hestition it is difficult for u. 昨天，我和一位女性朋友一起去看了大象，我们玩得很开心!我们的导游是一位名叫Yang的瑞典志愿者，他很友善，对大象很了解，而且非常关心大象的福利待遇和情绪状态。我们和大象一起散步，喂它们吃东西，和大象玩的满身都是泥(这是体验的一部分)，然后给大象洗了澡。午餐是自助餐样式的，美味可口!如果你们在泰国北部，我强烈推荐大家报这个团去看大象。体验将终生难忘。

我去了半天，真是太棒了。工作人员非常友好，热爱动物，和大象在一起真是太棒了。这个地方将是我在泰国最美好的记忆之一！

我们在Rantong的大象营过了非常棒的一天。一开始我们不确定因为这对于背包客来说有一点贵，但我强烈推荐！！这里百分百值得来。他们对待大象真的很好，他们只让你骑30分钟，挺好的，所以你不会虐待到动物。象夫24小时和大象待在一起，很好地照顾它们。总有一天我会再来这里的！

我们在Ran-tong大象保护中心度过了一段开心的时光！我们的导游K，非常友好，知识渊博。这里的大象也似乎很快乐，而且受到很人道的对待。这里非常注重对大象的人道对待，事实也确实是这样。如果大家还在犹豫选择哪个大象保护中心，那么Ran-Tong应该是最好的选择！

这里的象都好温柔！看着着一只只大象，想着它们以前都是被虐待过的，救到这里来。人类一定要善待动物！今天我跟一只名叫boon rod的年轻母象成了好朋友，走的时候她依依不舍不肯跟象夫走了，也许她也能感应到我对她的喜爱吧～我第一次在一头大象脸上亲亲，今天陪她洗澡的时候，在她眼睛上亲了一下，感觉好多❤️ 我想我还会回来做志愿者的！我还想领养她❤️❤️

全家游
上周我们与大象和工作人员有了一次不可思议的经历。如果你去泰国，你会有很多选择和经历使你的旅行变得特别，但是这个特别的大象公园是我永远不会忘记的。他们非常小心地对待大象，这些动物与我们互动的方式表明他们在这里受到了很好的对待。感谢工作人员和培训人员!我们不会忘记你们的！!

我和丈夫去了那个地方，玩得很开心。我们觉得他们真的很关心大象。我们听到了每一头被拯救的大象的故事，当我们遇到它们时，我们感到与它们之间的联系更加紧密。我们的导游叫Fai，他是非常好的，有趣的。在那的时光非常特别，这是我生命中第一次如此接近一头大象，更不用说还可以喂它，帮它洗澡了。准备好被泥土弄脏（你可以换衣服，这样你自己的衣服就可以保持干净了），当你结束时，洗个澡就可以了。
