This is a great and professional dive shop, but I believe I was sexually harassed by Dialos.
The reason we chose Blacktip is that it is the nearest professional dive shop to our hotel, and Dialos gave us a very professional introduction when he received us. Since we were only staying on the island for two nights, Dialos arranged an additional dive trip for us in the afternoon of the second day.
Before diving, Dialos took us to the pool for a simple but professional safety training, and then we went out to sea.
This was my first time diving, and everything went smoothly before the dive, but something unbelievable happened underwater! As it was my first time diving and I was a bit scared, Dialos suggested holding my hand underwater to dive, telling me not to be afraid. But underwater, I found that my hand accidentally touched his penis under his guidance, but I thought it was just an accident at first, so I deliberately kept a certain distance. However, he held my hand again and placed it on his penis, making my hand grip it, and his hand was consciously moving. At this time, I realized that this was a deliberate act of sexual harassment. But because I was very scared underwater, I couldn't let go of his hand. This is definitely not a misunderstanding, because the contact underwater was very obvious, and such behavior lasted for at least 30 minutes underwater. Later, I couldn't stand it anymore, so I suggested that I should ascend, and thus ended this dive. The second time I refused to dive again.
What should have been a wonderful diving experience was thus tainted.
When he was on the boat, he acted as if everything was normal, as if nothing had happened. He took advantage of my fear of diving for the first time to do such disgusting things. My partner took some unclear evidence underwater with a GoPro. In order not to affect the subsequent experience of my partner, I didn't mention this matter on the boat at that time.
Of course, because I don't have any professional diving knowledge, if the above behavior is something a professional diving instructor must do (holding the hand of a beginner close to his own genitals), please provide evidence and specific policy requirements in writing, and I will modify my review. Otherwise, I don't think Dialos is qualified to serve as a diving instructor at Blacktip.
