I did 3 dives with seaquest in moalboal within one day. The reason I chose the shop was because the experience of diving with seaquest boalhoal was nice. It turned out that the shops seemed to be under double standards.
I found the BCD and regulator very old and looked like had been using for years the morning I went to the shop. The only reason I didn’t quit was because I booked 3 tanks of nitrox in advance the previous day.
The first and second dive were fine. The problem happened during the third dive when I was with my divemaster Ken.
When we were at 18m for the 3rd dive (25mins as I checked my computer), I found myself keeping ascending so I tried to deflate my BCD. It didn't work no matter which angle I tried to press the deflation button and pulled the string. I ascended little bit quickly and tried to attract Ken's attention by waving and shouting over regulator to him (He was in front of me and another diver who's friend was doing discover fun diving with an instructor whose name was Kirky). Kirky was taking photos for them and Ken ahead of me. I grabbed a coral like 2mins until he swam to me. It turned out the deflation wasn't the only problem. The gas pipe got detached as well. He managed to re-attach the pipe but I didn’t think the deflation problem was solved. Because I did a safety stop while still holding a coral to prevent myself from ascending and then we finished the dive. When we went back to the boat I asked how could the BCD pipe got detached. He answered his BCD worked fine. I don't know if that's an answer... I tried to talk to the reception and Kirky as she was with us under the water. She simply said it’s her first time heard the pipe get detached underwater. It must be detached already before the dive. How could I inflate my BCD if there was a problem before the dive?
Their equipment is ancient and they simply don't care what accident happened underwater so long as you’re still kicking.
装备老旧到不如二手店,店里工作人员压根不管这破事儿。因为反正也没生意。bottom time 只有50分钟,周边其他潜店是一小时。
