点评：I've sailed with Pete before, when he and Carrie ran PASA, so I was keen to revisit Gib and see them both again. Carrie was enormously helpful as I started the week with my VHF exam, having booked the online theory a few weeks back with Rock Sailing.
Mark was the instructor and skipper for the week and he is amazing - a wealth of knowledge, calm, clear, supportive, and always willing to explain things. He gave the whole crew a safe space to laugh at yourself while still learning and having fun.
A huge confidence boost to my boat handling skills (always nervous in a marina with 37 foot of someone else's expensive boat) and some great sailing along the coast and around the bay. With a wide range of skillsets and experience on our boat, Mark made everyone feel welcome and ensured everyone got a chance to try something new as well as practice and improve.
An amazing week that's given me the confidence for my own boat. Definitely will be back for Coastal Skipper.
Hot, sunny, great wind, clear blue waters, and only a short flight from the UK - combined with an incredible team, why would you go anywhere else?
