A charming visit!
Het Bossche Kwartier的点评
点评：Den Bosch has a small enough town center for me as a walking-disabled person to get around relatively easily. In most places, there were no stairs, and I could enter and exit shops with no difficulty. In fact, when I visited De Huis where Hieronymus Bosch lived and painted, the two docents were super helpful, and there had been an unobtrusive elevator installed, allowing me to see the entire place. I was there on a market day, where it was bustling and fun, where there were lots of stalls with fresh foods and crafts and “stuff” for sale, but because den Bosch is also a market center, there were a lot of shops and stores, many of which are chain stores in Europe or relatively local (Dutch or German).
One of my favorite shops in Europe is HEMA, and this one is large, with lots of items to take home for souvenirs. The only problem is that the ladies’ room is up about 5-6 stairs, making it difficult for me to navigate without my rollator, and although they have a restaurant, it also was up some stairs, so I couldn’t really eat there. (It was okay, because I did eat freshly fried fish in one of the stalls in the marketplace.)
I am a plus-size woman, and there are three wonderful stores that cater specifically to me! They are of varying price points, too, so one can shop at any and all of them, and none requires stairs!
Another aspect is that den Bosch has a number of good Indonesian restaurants, and we ate in one of them called Bandung. A little out of the center, but lovely and walkable. Food was delicious, and the proprietors friendly.
All in all, a good experience!

总而言之，这是一次很棒的体验！
