Unforgettable Terroir, Vines, Wines, Flowers and Tour
Bouquet d'Alella的点评
点评：Andrew was fabulous, the predominance of the Morning Glories and other flowers at the vineyard were just gorgeous, so were the vines.
It wasn't a very good time to visit, or so I thought, for red wines, but the whites were so good that we bought a bottle for my wife, that she actually truly loved.
That said, for me, the star of the show was the, truly a full five out of five stars - served chilled, 2023 Garnatxa Negra that Andrew poured for us. Zowee.
Unfortunately for us, we were trying too hard to travel light. We made the epic mistake of not taking even one bottle of that absolutely unique sparkler of a Mediterranean Coastal Garnacha wine, with us. I've never tasted a true summer red wine as light, refreshing and wonderful. I have tasted cherry wines that didn't have that much genuine, lovely tart cherry flavor in them. That refreshing tasting flavor came entirely from very deft handling of the amazing Garnacha or Garnatxa grapes in this wine. Wow!
The property was beautiful, the wine was wonderful and Andrew's passion for what he does came off rather clearly. What a genuinely informative conversation we had with Andrew, about wine terroir, and the uniqueness of the micro-climate at this wonderful vineyard, plus some great history that Andrew had to share.
If you have a shot at a wine tasting involving this sparkler of a vineyard, then be sure not to hesitate for a second, and to jump on a visit to this "Golden Ticket" of a vineyard, with both feet. We just stumbled into a wine tour that sailed to the harbor below Alella, and then drove us up to Bouquet d'Allela property, by pure luck. I'll never forget this experience.
