点评：* Long waits for artist, around 1 hour with music playing now and again but mainly advertising (with no sound)
* Free train tickets are a lie! Unable to use of night train. We booked the “free” return journey from the festival and you could not use this on the night trains which is when most people were leaving. So forced to buy another ticket.
* Long waits for festival buses to get to Leuven as we stayed in Brussels, on one of the nights it took us almost 3 hours to get from the exit to the bus stop, which forced us to have to leave the festival earlier all the other nights.
* Coin cashless System is a joke, 1 coin was €3.50 which would get you a soft drink that was about 200ml. Food stalls also used this coin system and felt like a way to confuse you around the cost. Not sure what use the coin system was makes sense to just price everything. You also get charged 1 coin if you request a return at the end of the festival. No pints small cups.
* Overcrowded: the festival was way too overcrowded and this was very noticeable. I think for the size of the grounds the capacity of people they let in is too high. Was very cramped conditions and high traffic of people.
* You can hear other stages from the main stage, I think because of the space issue.
* Smells, unsure whether this festival is on a farm? Or near a farm but for those who camp when walking pass the camp site the smell was sickening. Not sure how they camp there.
On a Positive toilets were tidy, shame there was no soap.
Didn’t feel like a festival vibes just lots of people weaving in and around you even when the artist where playing. Less so within the front two barriers but outside of this it was so terrible.
The group of us that had attended have been to many festival within the UK and Europe we all felt the vibes at Rock Werchter 2024 were flat and it felt very unwelcoming and not like a festival.
