点评:This was a beautiful activity for folks who love all spring blooming bulbs! Seeing fields of color from daffodils and tulips reminded me of our trip to the Netherlands, only on a smaller scale. There wasn’t much to see in the towns, except a very helpful visitor center that will give you some maps to get around. All the tulip action is in the private gardens that you have to pay to enter. I would recommend that if you intend to see the RoosenGaarde tulip fields, save RoosenGaarde for last or all others will be less appreciated. It is the largest, with the most fields, the most garden displays, and the highest number of tulip varieties. Tulip Town was nice too, with a windmill and calliope-style music (reminiscent of Keukenhof in Netherlands), and a trolley ride around the fields, but far fewer garden displays , fewer tulip varieties and smaller fields, so it was relatively disappointing after having seen RoosenGaarde first. In reverse order we would have appreciated them both for their individual merits.
