Great experience, Dont fall for overpriced Photos, wait for it!

点评：Bought deal using chat gpt. Great dolphin experience for families, but be very careful with photo pricing.
The interaction itself at Delphinus Puerto Morelos was excellent. Trainers were professional, and the kids loved it. No complaints about the experience.
Photos, however, are a different story:
After the swim, we were quoted $360–$400+ for photo packages—more than the cost of the experience itself. When I pushed back, pricing quickly changed:
- $60 for 1 photo
- $99 for 3 photos
- $180 for “all photos” (presented as a discount)
This is tiered/negotiated pricing, so don’t accept the first offer.
Here’s the part most people don’t realize:
👉 You can buy the SAME photos later online via PhotoDelphinus (search by date/time/location)
👉 “30% off” online pricing is basically standard (about $27 per photo vs $40 base)
👉 A few weeks later, we received a 50% off email (“last chance before deletion”) bringing photos to **$19.99 each** and full package to **$177**
I also confirmed their system stores photos for ~90 days (I could still access sessions from ~3 months prior), so the urgency messaging is somewhat exaggerated.
My advice (this will save you money):
- Do NOT feel pressured to buy onsite
- Wait and purchase online
- Best price comes later (~50% off), but don’t wait too close to the deletion window
