点评:I ordered a Christmas tree in August for December delivery, expecting plenty of time for quality control. Unfortunately, the tree that arrived was significantly shorter than the size I paid for (£84 including delivery) and in a very thin, poor condition.
I contacted customer service requesting either a replacement or a full refund. Instead, I was offered only a 50% refund, presented as non-negotiable. The wording of the response was particularly frustrating: “I’ll increase it to 50% for you and get that processed shortly, so the tree will effectively be half price, i.e. quite a meaningful reduction.” This was done without my agreement and felt dismissive of the issue.
A tree that is not the advertised size or quality is not acceptable, regardless of the discount applied after the fact. Half a refund is not satisfactory when the product does not meet the description. I still request a FULL refund.
If I am able to upload photographs, I will so customers can judge for themselves whether they want to trust this company with something as important as their Christmas.
