Fun, fascinating and a learning experience
Green Grotto Caves的点评
点评：We hired a driver from Karandas Tours, Alex, who was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He picked us up in Montego Bay and stopped at scenic points along the way there and back. He also took care of our entrance fee.
The Green Grotto has a lovely waiting area: a garden with signs explaining the trees and plants, plenty of birds and a beautiful spider to keep us entertained. There's also plenty of shade, a snack bar, and clean washrooms.
We didn't wait long before the tour began, and I have to recommend Chedd, our guide, to everyone. He didn't just know the caves, he knew their history and how that tracked with the history of Jamaica. He explained the origin of the Jamaican patois, the James Bond movie that was filmed there, and the bats and birds that live in the caves. He was humourous as well as informative, imitating David Attenborough and Sean Connery, and telling us jokes along the way. Out of all the tours we could have taken from Montego Bay, I was very happy that we chose this one.
