点评：We came here to watch Star Wars, and it was certainly an experience, though not in the way anyone hopes for.
From the moment we arrived, the service could best be described as “I really don’t want to be here, but I need the money.” No warmth, no effort, just a sense that both staff and customers were inconveniences to one another.
The food set the same tone. It looked sad, uninspired, and overpriced. Thank goodness for the sweets, though the prices on those made the relief short lived. It is hard to enjoy a treat when you feel you are paying cinema prices for the privilege of disappointment.
The venue itself did not improve the evening. The seats were small and uncomfortable, the screen felt more like a living room television than a cinema experience, and the projection was out of focus enough to turn the film into Star Wars: The Blurry Menace. To make matters worse, the lights were left on through the entire film, leaving any sense of immersion impossible. We looked for staff, but none were to be found.
What should have been a simple night out to enjoy a film became a reminder that not all cinemas care about the basics: clear projection, a darkened room, comfortable seating, and staff who at least appear to care.
