Unacceptable Service, Complete Waste of Time & Poor Management

点评：My experience with this dive center (the only one reportedly open) was extremely frustrating and led to a complete loss of a precious vacation day.
We drove a significant distance from San Sebastián to this location on 28/11/2025 , as we could not reach anyone by phone or message. The center was closed when we arrived, and nobody was present. We wasted an entire day of our short three-day trip trying to book a dive.
The instructor finally called our hotel the following day—after our safe diving window before flying was already ruined—only to refuse service.
The refusal was based on a technicality: my certification is PADI Scuba Diver, not Open Water Diver. This is despite the fact that I have over 20 logged dives and have always successfully dived with professional supervision. The instructor claimed they did not have the appropriate certification or staff to properly accompany a Scuba Diver. (He also complained about being alone).
Conclusion: This club exhibits zero respect for the client's time, shows terrible communication, and lacks the necessary staff to support even basic PADI standards (accompanying a Scuba Diver). Their refusal due to a technicality, given my experience, is unprofessional. If you are planning a dive trip to La Gomera, be aware of this major risk. This trip was a catastrophe for me because of the terrible service here.
