A Pleasant Half-Day Outing with Kids, But Safety Needs More Attention

点评：We recently visited this zoo with our child and had a fairly enjoyable experience overall. It’s not a very large zoo, but it’s just the right size for a half-day outing—especially with younger kids. The lush greenery, abundant flora, and well-placed seating areas made it a relaxing walk through nature. It’s a peaceful spot to unwind while giving little ones a chance to see animals up close.
However, one serious concern that marred the experience was the lack of proper supervision and safety enforcement. We were shocked to see some unattended children trying to wiggle through the barriers of enclosures—including that of the elephants. This is not only dangerous for the kids but also for the animals, and it was disappointing that no zoo officials were around to intervene immediately.
Installing more CCTV cameras and having staff patrol regularly—especially near larger animal enclosures—would go a long way in ensuring a safer experience for everyone.
That said, for a basic zoo visit with a child, it remains a pleasant and affordable way to spend a few hours, as long as you keep a close eye on your own little ones.
