A Tale of Two Visits – Beautiful Setting, Disappointing Food

点评：This was my second visit to Soumah, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the first.
About a month ago, we had a wonderful wine tasting experience with Chris, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the wines at Soumah. That visit left a lasting impression and is exactly why I was so excited to return—this time to enjoy a long lunch overlooking the stunning vineyard.
While the setting remains absolutely beautiful and the staff were warm and attentive, the food was quite underwhelming. The meals felt very ordinary and didn’t match the quality we experienced during our tasting. In fact, we ended up ordering extra pizzas and a tasting platter just to feel satisfied.
It was especially disappointing as this visit was a birthday lunch organised by my children, and I had really hoped for a memorable dining experience to match the incredible location.
Such a shame, as Soumah truly has all the elements to be exceptional. I do hope the food offering improves to match the standard of their wines and hospitality.
