Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum的点评
点评：This stop on our Lake Superior Circle Tour was highly recommended to us by a friend, and it did not disappoint. Relatively small museum made up of multiple buildings, but everything was incredibly well done. The actual shipwreck building focused on the numerous Lake Superior shipwrecks, most notably, the Edmund Fitzgerald which the museum was intimately involved in with raising the bell and replacing with a replica. There is also the lightkeeper's quarters (the lighthouse is still active and working but the quarters is not) which focused on two different eras of keepers. The museum was also show casing a new restoration of a Coast Guard boat. Each building has a different focus. In addition, there are boardwalks and overlooks on the beach to see Lake Superior. Well worth the entrance fee. One of the highlights of our trip. Bring rain gear if weather is poor since you will be outside moving from building to building.
