点评:Arrived to collect our boat, to book in etc, to be advised that we were late at 1.30 pm and the staff were waiting to go home.
As someone who has mobility issues, my partner isn't very stable on his feet, so I had to park near to the boat (considering i'm an HGV driver for a licing, this wasn't a problem) and allow my partner to exit the car and get aboard the boat.
A female older lady came over to my partner, asked him why he was on a boat if he wasn't able to walk properly. This felt odd!! Looks from the lady still, muttering under her breath, very uneasy!! I had a majorly bad feeling about this!!
I eventually got so annoyed that I went in to return the keys to the office and said 'forget this holiday, were leaving. you've made us feel totally unwelcome'
I emailed silverline to complain, advise them of these issues and why I felt the need to leave our fully paid holiday (£1400) and suggest that we re-booked at their cost. This was out-rightly refused saying 'it was our decision to leave, your problem not ours'.
No appology, no reasons for the rudeness, looks of disgust etc....nope. Just a feable excuse!! KAREN service!
So I went back to hoseasons (who I had booked through). There was nothing in the holiday insurance that covered this situation, so I claimed the full cost via my credit card.
I would think VERY clearly about using silverline marine. Reminds me of the kitchen of Karens. If you know, you know!!!
The only thing missing was a load of curse phrases!
