Ride on Europe's most northerly tram route

点评：I'd describe this as efficient and quaint offering beautiful views as you climb up the various hills on this sooth tram journey into the Norwegian countryside.
It's a surprisingly quick journey too from the city centre with frequent services, making this an ideal trip to do before attractions open. At the end of the line at Lian, you are treated to a truly beautiful park lake with trees all around. There are several walks that can be done here making it an ideal recreational spot.
The route the tram takes has several short platform station stops on the way with connecting bus stops adjacent making it ideal to visit other Trondheim attractions like the Folk Museum (a 5 minute bus ride from Munkvoll tram stop). The tram itself, whilst a bit dated compared to other modern city trams, runs smooth as silk and has its own charm with classic 90s style light advertising boards, step access and wide comfortable seats. Using the service on a cold winter morning I found it nice and warm providing a cosy travel experience.
