Shaws Road Winery的点评
点评：After seeing so many wonderful reviews and comments on the food service and value our friends who had been to the winery , booked a table to take us for lunch
when we arrived and sat we were told that there was a 3 course menu but only sharing platters with no choice , so wine makers platter to share roast beef and kimchi alongwith chicken Maryland and grilled vegetables ..on a platter to share
and a choice of dessert still at the price of $65
previously there had been an a la carte menu
The winemaker platter was scarce to say the least .. ( our friends raved about how wonderful the platters were )
The roast sirloin beef which was ok but really didnt compliment the kimchi and star anise sauce .. weird combo
chicken was sad .. menu stated gallantine .. just rolled upand a bit greasy , lots of grilled eggplant and vinaigrette... no other choices no salads or vegetables .. only french fries at $ 10 a pot ..dessert was a fail .. pavlova .. cheap and nasty and dulche de leche cheesecake .. grainy and poorly made ..
staff were clearly untrained .. a young boy couldnt even clear plates .. a young woman who claimed to be the supervisor gave us a warm bottle of chardonnay , and looked surprised when we asked her to bring a chilled one ??!!
our friends who recommened Shaws road winery and took us were totally embarassed and disappointed as they had been before and enjoyed the experience with wonderful food and outstanding service .. in their words it was a hidden gem . but alas no more .
we didnt complain as the staff .. all very young seemed to be having a very hard day .. the older lady who took our payment was rude and abrupt .. may be it was just one of those days
but wont go back and certainly wouldnt recommend ..

员工显然没有受过培训 .. 一个小男孩甚至不会收拾盘子 .. 一个自称是主管的年轻女子给了我们一瓶温热的霞多丽，当我们要求她拿一瓶冰镇的时，她看起来很惊讶？！！
我们的朋友推荐了 Shaws road 酒庄并带我们去了那里，他们感到非常尴尬和失望，因为他们以前来过，享受了美妙的食物和出色的服务 .. 用他们的话来说，这是一颗隐藏的宝石。但可惜现在没有了。
我们没有抱怨，因为工作人员都很年轻，似乎度过了非常艰难的一天。收款的老太太很粗鲁、唐突。也许这只是其中一天
但不会再去，当然也不会推荐。
