BIGger in real life, Lots of “Artistic License”
Ark Encounter的点评
点评：Do visit, this is amazing & chock-full of artifacts, & beautifully built. Clean restrooms (w/ water fountains), lush landscaping, and very helpful drivers, guides-a-plenty & employees eager to help.
We went on a Thursday, not crowded at all. however, the best way to navigate this, especially in the morning is to not dawdle @ the ‘Welcome Center’ (which mostly has a coffee/gift shop, & a HUGE auditorium, where speakers give presentations).
Walk outside & when you see the rainbow arch outside, take a hard LEFT (ignore the blue signs that say “arc entrance “ signs pointing right where the rest of the crowd will go).
Enter the BOW side of the ark. Go inside past the gift shop, then take the elevator -straight up to the 3rd floor. Everyone else will be pressing in on the 1st floor on the opposite side of the ship and you will be able to enjoy your way down to the first floor crowd-free!
There r special speakers/events listed on your daily plan. We were very impressed with ‘Corey East’ (A masters degree archaeologist just returned from Israel.
It’s faithful to the biblical worldview But we felt they got carried away with their artistic license… go with an open mind and learn a lot.
