点评：This was our first time that we have ever been to the Ark encounter, and we have been wanting to visit for sometime. We arrived and parked and took the shuttle buses to the entrance. on the bus we had quite a beautiful view from the windows. It’s very lovely the surrounding areas.. once we arrived we exited the bus and we went directly inside and they had a beautiful gift shop which we looked around quite a bit, but decided not to buy anything so that we would not have to carry it with us while we visited the ark. Upon entering the area of the ark, it was magnificent and huge beyond anything we imagined.. entering the ark. The exhibits and craftsmanship were amazing and we were enjoying the experience however, approximately one hour into the visit the ark lost power however emergency generators did kick on, but most of the exhibits were basically dark and we were unable to appreciate what was being displayed there. Also the gift shops and food food venues within the ark We’re out of power so we could not purchase anything to eat or drink or buy any items we might have wanted. With the power being off it was also getting a little bit warm inside and we decided to exit the ark and not see the rest of it. the encounter itself is very clean and neat and we wish we could’ve been able to explore more of the ark before leaving. we drove a long way from Virginia to see this. Due to the inconvenience of the power outage in the park did in fact refund our admission.
