Underappreciated place of interest. The structure Horizon is not just seating.

点评：This area has recently been made more accessible, with car parking, an access path, boards of information and the new structure Horizon. Mostly described as seating, Horizon is more than it first appears. It is interactive and inspirational. This is what the architects have to say, ´Looking back to Boston and out to The Wash, beyond the horizon, the structure represents an abstracted composite of historic navigational instruments. Part sextant, part sun-compass, part orrery, it can be reconfigured and curated by visitors to alter seating positions in relation to views, shelter and shadows.‘
Grab hold of the rotating parts and push or pull them into new configurations.
This structure, the memorial, the views, the boards of information and a walk if you’d like are all that there is here, but there is quite a bit of historic interest in Boston itself - the guildhall, the Stump and so on. You can also cycle by the river, (up to Lincoln if you wish), visit the bubble car museum and enjoy the parks.
