Newlyn Filmhouse的点评
点评：I can't force anyone to go or not go to Newlyn Filmhouse, but know that the people who run it are thieves. That's right - T H I E V E S, and they are free to sue me for defamation for writing this if they so wish. Furthermore, this rather timely article https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c51ypp5dxe5o
has appeared in the news since I wrote this review. I'd like to stress that I have NOT threatened Newlyn Filmhouse with any negative reviews unless they acceeded to any demand from me; I went ahead and wrote the review regardless.
Reason: they today refused to extend the gift vouchers my 2 aunts bought me, which expired 7 mths ago.
Newlyn Filmhouse hasn't changed ownership since the vouchers were issued or anything like that, so it wasn't any skin off their noses and they still retain my / my aunts' money - they simply refused point-blank. Therefore Newlyn Filmhouse has effectively stolen the money my aunts paid them.
Their actions stand in stark contrast to the management of the Honey Pot restaurant in Penzance who, having been asked to extend a £40 gift voucher for THEIR establishment, did this without a quibble despite the voucher being even more out of date - see pic. I see from a couple of other negative reviews that I am not the only person who's had this issue with Newlyn Filmhouse.
Just thought I'd let readers know what sort of people run Newlyn Filmhouse.
