Shaw Estate的点评
点评：Surprised there is no mention of the restaurant adjacent to the wine tasting area in these reviews. The restaurant is one of the larger winery restaurants we have seen with a substantial commercial kitchen on view.
Bookings are recommended as we could not secure a table until 1.15pm. The dishes are generally designed for sharing with designated smaller entree plates and larger plates that included two types of steak and a whole chicken.
We opted for two entrees: prawns and zucchini flowers; and two large plates flank steak and Milanese chicken (see photos). The standard of food was well above recent visits to winery restaurants.
The service was outstanding. Menus and water immediately offered and our entrees similarly quickly arrived followed by the mains.
There is an extensive wine list with a range of wines supplementing the Shaw Estate range.
The restaurant is spacious with views of the paddocks surrounding the winery.
Recommendation: check the menu online and definitely book to avoid disappointment.
