Pack light it’s a long walk to the beach.

点评：If you want to pitch a tent, grill, play music and have some beer with your friends this is NOT the park for you….
You can’t camp, drink, smoke or grill. You can bring food into the park but you have to take all the trash home with you. There aren’t trash cans anywhere.
I made the mistake of packing too much beach gear and had to lug it from the parking lot all the way down to the beach. Bring a wagon! Dogs aren’t allowed on the swimming beach during the summer and you can’t fish off the swimming beach either. Dogs have to be on a leash 100% of the time.
All that said the beach itself and the park rangers are pretty great. My wife got stung by a bee and the ranger that did first aid stayed with us 20 minutes after her shift to make sure she didn’t have an allergic reaction. That lady Ranger had my wife laughing so hard she forgot about her sting until we got home. We will definitely be coming back!
