点评:Today we had the opportunity to walk a short distance to this living museum and so glad we did. At reception we got our tickets and then our guide Joseph came to meet us. His english was excellent and he walked us around the open air museum introducing all the crafts to us ... weaving, rush bed mats, pottery, carving, necklace making, smithey, musical instruments and more! We learnt a few words of the local language and about their former way of life. The visit ended with the whole team singing and dancing 3 songs to just us as we were the only visitors...really moving ... we felt very privileged to have visited and thank them all. This Living Museum is open every day of the year ...please support the local community by visiting if you can ...and also there are some handmade items available to buy before you leave if you wish ...we bought 2 woven baskets to take home. Joseph then kindly walked us across the dried up lake to the gate of our lodge ...a shortcut back but it's not far even the longer route..barely 20 minutes and worth it!!
