Lovely weekend break, would definitely return.

点评：We stayed here mid March from Fri - Sun in a Lindean Pod with large hot tub. The lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's a large sofa bed in the living room, comfy double bed downstairs and up a wooden ladder, another double bed with skylight. The upstairs bedroom is a crawlspace so perfect for kids. Stairs are steep so make sure they know how to get up and down safely.
We had a welcome basket of tea/coffee/biscuits as well as dish soap, cloth, sponge, teatowel and paper towels. In the shower room we also had toiletries provided and towels. The kitchen has plastic glasses, perfect for using in the hot tub. Sitting on the decking or in the hot tub hides you from the other lodges and you feel like you're in the trees. The hot tub was easy to use and a good temperature for letting kids use it too. Lovely sitting watching the rabbits, squirrels and birds. The whole park is in a beautiful location.
There is a heated towl rail in the shower room as well as a plinth blow heater in the bedroom and a lovely real looking fireplace in the living room. Gets quite cold during the night so recommend keeping the heater in the living room on.
No bedside lamp in the bedroom but I brought a plug in nightlight which worked well. Lots of sockets with USB ports.
The lady who checked us in was really friendly, very welcoming and accommodating. Check-out was 9am Sun but after asking if we could check-out a bit later, she asked if 10.30am was ok. Perfect! No additional charge either which was really appreciated.
The reception area has a shop with loads of goods, there is also a burger type takeaway van and ice-cream/waffle takeaway van opposite the restaurant. We got pizza and burgers which were good. We didn't use the restaurant/bar but it looked nice and sounded like there was entertainment on the Sat eve.
5 mins away there was Harestanes Visitor Centre which has a fabulous play area and a cafe serving delicious food and drink with plenty of outside seating. There are little galleries for glass crafts, wood crafts etc and a desert shop where we got some lovely croissants and ice-cream. Free parking and countryside walking too.
I would definitely return here and recommend. I'd maybe try a Bowden Pod next time. My 8 yo daughter just loves the mezzanine bedroom!
