点评：Roger took us on two tours, one a nighttime tour through the jungle looking mainly for frogs and snakes and the other for mammals and birds. We learned so much due to Roger’s vast knowledge. He displays so much patience to be sure that you get the best experience. He could actually call in birds through whistling and a bird app. He had such a knack for finding birds and mammals and then pointing his spotting scope on them. He would then put my iphone on his scope and take pictures for me.
The nighttime tour is more challenging because you’re hiking through the jungle at night including crossing a riverbed and on narrow trails and elevation. We did find at least 6 types of frogs, 3 snakes and as a bonus several spiders.
During the daytime hike in addition to numerous birds he made sure that we found the four primary monkey species in the area - howler monkey, spider monkey, white-face capuchin monkey and squirrel monkey. He also found a sloth.
Roger is a very pleasant person and he made sure that we had a great experience. We would definitely do these tours again with Roger.
