Wonderful visit to this interesting little museum with nicely mounted displays

点评：I went to visit the Dorsey Museum on the SUNY New Paltz campus and am always impressed by their galleries and the exhibitions that they mount.
They had two exhibitions called ‘Movement’ with many local New York artists exploring the movement from artists from place to place. The artists show their perspective of movements within the subject matter. Some of the works were very interesting.
The other exhibitions are ‘Landmines’ and ‘Living Collection’ where some of the works were both painted and visual. There was an interesting interactive video that one artist created which you walked through and the video surrounded you.
‘Landmines’ had very colorful of art and I could see the intensity of the art. The canvases had such aggressive strokes. The three exhibitions may have been small but they pack a punch.
