Tees, paths and lack of a clubhouse (for now) all fade once you hit the course - incredible 18 holes of golf.

点评：Okay let's deal with the negatives first
1. the paths are more than a bit haphazard; roots have pushed them up in several places
2. There is no clubhouse and won't be for another 12 months, but there is a small cafe / bar
3. Some of the tees arent in the best condition; bu they're not awful.
We had read the reviews and throught we could be walking into a disaster and that it definitely isn't...
We were lucky enough to play QdL North & South along with San Lorenzo this year and played Laranjal last year
I can't think of a course that can top QdL for service; it is impeccable...but if you're there for the course...then San Lorenzo tops the lot - it is astonishly beautiful, and bloody hard; especially playing it for the first time. The staff delightful and couldn't work any harder to make you feel as welcome as possible.
Is there room for improvement - obviously yes and hopefully the new investment will deal with that; but is this a course that will live long in the memory - too right it is...bloody brilliant morning of golf.
