A very disappointing second hire experience - great service but badly let down by the product

点评：I would not normally use a public review as a first avenue of communication, and would have preferred to raise this privately. However, Pedal & Flipper do not appear to provide any public email contact for customer feedback or follow-up, so a public review seems to be the only practical way to seek an explanation.
To be fair, our comments relate only to the bikes themselves. We had no issue at all with staff, procedures, or waiting time.
We previously hired Pedal & Flipper e-bikes on Rottnest and had a much better experience than this year.
The current bikes felt quite different from those we rode previously and noticeably underpowered. More importantly, the fit was poor. I am 5'9" and had to stop within metres of leaving the hire point to raise the saddle. Even then, the bike still pitched me forward, to the point where I felt I had to brace myself with my arms and sit at the very back of the seat.
As far as I could tell, the only practical user adjustment available was saddle height, so there was no real way to correct the riding position if the default setup did not suit. The bike felt cramped and uncomfortable throughout.
The experience was disappointing enough that we returned our two-day hire mid-morning on the second day instead of continuing through to the following morning.
I am not seeking compensation, but I would genuinely appreciate an explanation as to whether the e-bikes have changed from the previous fleet, because they felt materially different.
