As a frequent visitor of silver beach I have to say my most recent visit was by far the worst. My friend and I wanted to have a relaxing day and come to the beach before it got too cold. While at the beach, we were laying on the sand and a lady we didn't know came up to us. She said, "Hey, do you ladies know this guy in the white hat, he was taking pictures of you and walked away". We told her we didn't and noticed he and the group he was with were keeping eyes of us.
As we made our way to the front to leave he put his camera in my face and took photos of my friend walking away. My friend did her best to let someone know there was someone going around and taking photos of women and children, but she was met with, "Sorry there are laws that prevent us from going up to him". So because nothing was done this person is still on the loose taking photos of you and your children.
P.S I literally have a photo of him taking pictures of people but apparently that wasn't enough to warrant a request for a sheriff/cop.
