Nice quiet swimming lake with beach

点评：Nice quiet swimming lake with a sandy beach and kids playground. There are toilets. We rented a paddle board from a self serve setup which we really enjoyed. No cafe nearby but local spar shop is a short walk away and v well stocked.
The sand is a bit muddy at the waters edge so our kids weren’t so keen on paddling in the water, but once you waded in the water itself was clear and I enjoyed a swim.
We almost had the place to ourselves, even on sunny days. I suspect it is relatively quiet because the other lake nearby (just north of Winterswijk) was a better equipped setup with a nicer beach. That said, this was a good day out too, especially for those staying at the de twee Bruggen holiday park as it is just a short walk (can push a buggy the whole way) or bike ride.
