Waste of our time :(
One Ocean的点评
点评：My family went on safari in Tanzania and stayed in many places, saw many things. It was a magical trip...until we snorkled with One Ocean. It is a tourist trap. You go out with a hundred other boats to see dead coral. Part of our group had wanted to go for the chance to see dolphins. There were none. I wouldn't think dolphins would want to swim near a hundred boats and splashing tourists.
We were on a boat with 3 pairs of scuba divers, of varying experience, so we kept having to wait til they were all back in the boat. It was supposed to be a morning activity but we didn’t get dropped off at our hotel until after 3 pm so our whole day was shot--and it was our last day in Zanzibar.
My son kept struggling with his mask—as in, water kept going in it—and at one point he didn’t even have it on—and our guide didn’t bother to help. I finally shouted at the guide, who was just floating on the lifebuoy, and pointed to my son, and then he went over to help.
One Ocean did provide a nice snack in the middle, including fresh fruit and bread.
It was unfortunate because there was snorkeling at our hotel and it was easy to do, so we really wasted our time for nothing. Although our group of 6 were the only ones in the car when we were picked up, at the end, we had to wait for other people--who were very slow!--and drop them off first, which added at least a half hour to an already long drive.
