Very nice venue but out of the way

点评：Spent two nights here.
Breakfast is a winner with a wide buffet selection accommodating every palate.
Had one evening meal here - nothing special and quite pricey- tempura squid - a tad over cooked; chicken curry was a disappointment.
Along came the bill - on top of the menu price there is a service charge - then vat is added and along comes the bill with room for another tip.
Drinks were expensive too £4 plus for a small coke - gin 11.90 plus the mixer - that too had service and bay added to it!
On the plus side the bedroom was very well appointed and the bathroom spacious. Went to the pool and that was lovely, not busy. Staff throughout our stay were great too, very engaging.
The downside for us was the location without a car. Used New Street Taxis of Burton. £12:00 each way to Burton (add £1-1.50) on card. Bang on time every time
