点评:I bought this experience as part of my husbands Xmas present as he's always wanted tto know how to make a pork pie and it really didn't disappoint. We were warmly welcomed by Gaynor our Brockleby's tutor who offered us Tea, Coffee and ofcourse pork pie, as much as we wanted 😋. Gaynor started by explaining the history of pork pies originally known as Grey pies and how the Melton Mowbray pie 🥧 was born. A brilliant and funny insight to which everyone in the class (16 of us)
enjoyed.
The class lasted approximately 3 hours and time flew, from learning and applying the jelly to making the hot water pastry to chopping the meat and lastly, making the pie using the wooden pastry dolly. Different stages explained wittily by Gaynor made the process really enjoyable.
Our pies looked fantastic and we were both thrilled and proud.
