点评:I booked a couple of weeks before, but after booking a storm was forecast for the day I had booked. However I was unable to contact the company the day before to find out if it was going ahead. There is NO telephone number provided and all their "social media" feeds have not been updated for months. There was nothing on the website and were still taking bookings for that day.
They finally told me the ferry was cancelled on the day (by email), when I was already on the way there (so out of pocket) it was cancelled, which is far too late. There also isn't an automatic refund, you have to wait for them to call you first. So I ended up paying to take the bus and train to get there on the basis it was still running. leaving me out of pocket because they give too little notice.
So whilst the ferry might be OK I don't know because I didn't get to go and I found the communication poor and the lack of telephone number unacceptable. Customer service needs to be improved. Giving you less than 2 hours notice of cancellation and no telephone number listed isn't good enough when weather conditions had been forecast days in advance, with a weather warning in place.
