One of the Best Inclusive Parks We've Visited!

点评：Visited A Park Above last weekend after my son’s routine check-up at Sandia View Family Dental nearby, and I’m so glad we made the stop. This park is beautifully designed and incredibly inclusive—every feature feels intentional, with kids of all abilities in mind. My niece uses a wheelchair, and she was able to participate in almost every area of the park, from the adaptive swings to the music section.
The splash pad was a big hit, especially in the Rio Rancho heat. I loved how safe and clean the whole park felt. There are shaded areas, lots of benches, and even clean bathrooms (which parents know is a rare find!). It’s also well-patrolled, and the atmosphere felt family-friendly and relaxed.
We brought a picnic and stayed for a few hours, and honestly, it turned into the highlight of our day. You can tell the city really cares about this place. Perfect for kids of all ages, including teens who just want to hang out.
