点评：We stayed a week here during "spring break" in Texas, but the park wasn't particularly crowded. First thing we noticed was how bad the roads are, as soon as you leave the highway, and continuing all through the park. Some of the most poorly maintained roads of any campground we've been to. Camp loops weren't much better, and one section in B loop had a massive hole in the middle of the road surrounded by caution tape and cones. Second, the sites themselves; about half were without working electricity, some with signs saying they were being worked on, but it didn't appear that way while we were there. Finding a site that worked for us was tricky, because there just weren't many left to choose from. We finally found a site in B loop, but it needed tree trimming very badly, and a branch scratched our door. The neighbors who came in late in a large 5th wheel had more trouble than we did, and had to climb onto their roof with a pole chainsaw to get clearance.
Third on the Sunday before we were to leave (Tuesday) we drove out to get gas, etc and all of the dumpsters in camp except the one by the office were overflowing, with trash, plus bags placed all around on the ground around them because they couldn't hold any more. It was disgusting to see. I called the office, hoping they could send a maintenance guy around to at least clean up around them before the animals and wind scattered everything everywhere. But nope, she was busy trying to get a cabin cleaned up to rent, and said it would be picked up on Tuesday as scheduled! So by the time we pulled out on Tuesday morning, trash was up and down the roads and in the woods along the roads. Would have saved time if they had taken care of it before then, but it just showed a lack of any pride in this campground.
