点评:We've just returned home fom our walk in Tasmania. Three Capes Track has been cleverly and beautifully designed. We started on Christmas day and our group was only 27 considerate people so there was very little noise at night. The beds are comfortable and the communal spaces are very nice. Cool things like the same books and games in each hut so you can start a book and pick it up again at the next hut. Plenty of cooking implements, kettles and access to gas stoves. Rooms are pre-allocated by the host ranger and they give you a briefing each afternoon for the next day.
The shower on the second night is a nice treat.
You must carry out everything you carry in so be mindful of creating waste when you pack your food.
I'd recommend planning all meals, then taking some instant soups/noodles as extras. We burned almost 1400 calories some days.
Definitely expect rain and prepare for that.
The views and the vegetation are spectacular. The walking moderately challenging but one great thing is you can take ypur time and take advantage of the rest stops and story spots.
