Lam Tours Panama的点评
点评：I used Lam Tours for transportation to and from a private sailboat in the San Juan Islands, and I couldn’t have been more impressed.
From the start, their communication was excellent. They provided a clear 10-minute pickup window along with my driver’s name, and I was picked up right in front of my hotel right on time.
Driving in Panama is not for the faint of heart. Even coming from Los Angeles and the San Francisco area, I found Panama City traffic intense. But my driver, Christian, handled it with incredible skill and calm. Once we turned off the main highway, the road became a winding, steep mountain route full of tight twists and turns. Christian navigated it effortlessly, like he knew every inch by heart. It honestly felt like riding with a professional.
On my return, there was an issue with the local boat taxi (completely unrelated to Lam Tours), and I was unfortunately missed for pickup. As soon as I contacted Lam Tours, they jumped into action. They began reaching out to other boats in the area and arranged for a driver to wait for me at the port so I wouldn’t miss my flight.
Given how unreliable cell service can be out on the water, I can only imagine how challenging it was to coordinate everything. Throughout the entire situation, they stayed in constant contact, reassuring me that they were working on a solution and would get me to the airport on time.
In the end, they made it happen. A boat was secured, I got back to shore, and I arrived at the airport with time to spare.
This is a family-run company that’s been around since the 1970s, now carried on by the next generation. They clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail. Judy and Christian were both fantastic, and I’m so grateful for their help in making one of my favorite trips go so smoothly.
