Learn about Mossman Gorge and help keep the culture and stories of the Rain Forest alive

点评:This is a much more than a walk with a local indigenous guide through the Daintree Rainforest. It is an education through stories passed down for generations from the oldest living indigenous tribe recorded. Levi was our guide today. He learned from his mother Wendy. When our tour met him, we were invited into his people’s land with a smoking ceremony, where we basically walked in a circle. We were invited to have Bush tea and bread. He took us on a Ngadiku Dreamlike Walk where he explained about the tress, pointed out poisonous plants, and shared stories on how his people explain the forest. We also had lunch snd had time to look through their art gallery and gift shop. I personally enjoyed the explanation of his ochre painting and how his marks relate to his family.
