点评：We arranged our trip with Lee Hak, +855 8745 2464 who owns the best Tuk Tuk in Siem Reap (in my opinion!)
He organised our trip to Kampong Phluk, which was something on our ‘must do’ list.
He charged us a really good rate for the Tuk Tuk ride to the boat pick up point (and return) compared to the price quoted in many reviews I had read.
He took us to a tour company to book the boat ride which was $30 for the boat all to ourselves. . He speaks very good English and said he would accompany us on the boat as the boatsman was a local guy, who would not speak English.
He was more like a private tour guide, than just a driver, telling us lots of interesting information about the area and the people who live there.
We then went to a floating cafe/shop and took a small Boat paddled by a lady into the Mangrove forest for only $10, there were no additional charges.
We had a great day, took loads of photos and decided it would be great to see the village in the rainy season, when the water level Is higher. (Now we have seen the structures and how the properties are supported.
I have read some negative reviews about this trip, and I agree the boats that we went on were a little old, but it didn’t deter from our experience.
Ley told us that tourism has not yet picked up its pre covid numbers, so I guess that is affecting everyone’s livelihood and ability to have brand new boats etc!?
On the way back to our hotel, Let took us to a restaurant that he recommended, the food was amazing and for two meals and two soft drinks came to $25! Amazing
Would I recommend this trip, yes 100%
