点评：An experience of a lifetime that I will never forget. I joined another group as I went solo. We were led by two amazing guides through the jungle (Imam and Iboo). They were very experienced in the flora and fauna, the animals and the direction/path through the jungle. They provided us with so much delicious fruit and food throughout the trek as well as when we got to our tent by the river at night. They even catered vegan options for me. They were friendly and gave us plenty of opportunities to stop throughout the trek. We slept near a river in a tent that had pads with mosquito nets. We washed and swam in the river after our trek and spent time eating an amazing dinner around candlelight. We felt safe the entire night sleeping in the jungle. There were other campsites set up around the river with other trekkers. During the trek, we had a chance to see orangutans, Pigtail monkeys, Thomas leaf monkeys, a peacock etc. I spent only two days, one night in the jungle and returned back to the village via a tube ride down the river through the rainforest. One of the coolest experiences of my life. From day 1, I was picked up from and dropped off in Medan (the closest big city) and additionally spent two nights in Bukit Lawang, the nearby village where we began the 6-hour jungle trek from. Here I was provided with breakfast. Overall, I had an incredible time and met so many friendly locals along the way.
