Museum of the Earth的点评
点评：The museum is two levels, the upper and lower. The upper is the North Atlantic Right Whale & the gift shop. The lower starts with the Prep Lab, the Cambrian Period, Ordovican Period and the Silurian Period. Next is part of Life in an Ancient Sea, Life on Land, the Carboniferous(Mississippi and Pennsylvaian ). The Age of Dinosaurs in the Northeast-Triassic & Jurassic Periods. The only dinosaur was the stegosaur, with several sculptures of skulls, Cretaceoy & Tertiary Periods.
There several mammals after the dinosaur time period. One mammal is a mastodon from the Hyde Park in New York City. So only life is the North Right Atlantic Whale, the mastodon, the stegosaur, and a Quetzaloatlus flying or soaring bird. Just outside were two sculptures- a Archaeoptery and Coelophysis. Within a short distance are three parking lots that should hold 24 vehicles each. I would say about visitors at a time. I started at 10:40 A.M , ending about 1:00 P.M. There was very good lighting for photography.
