点评:This is more than just a waterfall as reaching it involves a short trek through the rainforest. It’s not the easiest walk and anyone with mobility problems would struggle but it really is worth the effort. The scenery is magnificent…many of the trees are identified by metal labels and there are very helpful, and well maintained information boards along the route. Don’t rush! There’s so much to see even before you hear the water!
It’s obviously better to go in the rainy season as the water volume will be much greater. We went fairly early so it was quiet and initially we were the only people at the waterfall although that didn’t last long!
You need good footwear…flip flops aren’t really suitable particularly in the wet season. Camera/phone batteries need to be well charged.
There’s a large car park and if you’ve bought a National Park ticket at another waterfall, you don’t need to pay again despite what staff might say-particularly to foreigners!
The attraction is well worth visiting…and not just for the waterfall.
