Chiswick House & Gardens的点评
点评：I can’t speak on any tour of the actual house, but the gardens are free and open to the public. There’s a cafe and restaurant on the premises that was bustling on the sunny day that we decided to visit. We got tea and a snack and had a little picnic!
The gardens were absolutely lovely. It’s a must-see for British garden nerds like me. Basically everyone who’s anyone in landscape gardening at the time had a hand in designing aspects of the garden. If you’re a birder, bring binoculars and you might want to get there earlier in the morning. We saw a lot of birds including a few uncommon ones. Great backdrop for photo shoots as well!
Please note that if you have a picnic, recycling and garbage containers are only around the cafe. There are periodic waste receptacles for dog waste around the parks but that’s it.
