点评:Playa Piskado is a small beach in WestPunt that we would not recommend, despite its popularity for seeing turtles. The beach itself is crushed coral so not easy on the feet and visibility for snorkeling is often very silty. There are chairs available for rent, a shower and some food services as well as a couple of vendors selling souvenirs. Parking is free onsite and all the way up the road, with a security person posted at the top of the road that leads down to the beach. What makes this beach off putting is the local man with a cooler of fish carcasses that sits on the dock banging a stick and dumping the fish into the ocean to attract turtles. Banging the stick on the dock is annoying enough but when you add in the smell of fish guts and the carcasses all over the bottom of the ocean we chose to avoid the beach after our first stop there. This beach is also a tour stop place so waves of snorkelers arrive adding to the congestion around the turtles. We found it was much more enjoyable to visit other beaches where you also see turtles, but you see them in a natural environment where they are not being fed fish carcasses.
