A Peaceful Park Up Away From The Crowds
Uphill Beach的点评
点评：As locals we visit Uphill Beach quite often. Unlike the Weston stretch of beach further up, this bit of lovely yellow sand doesn't see the tourist crowds as much and we prefer it.
The main section of the beach is actually a car park, with wooden posts each side separating it for vehicles. We like to drive here to sit with takeaway hot drinks sometimes while admiring the sea and the beautiful Brean Down. In the past we have also walked along the top end of Uphill Beach (no vehicles) towards the boatyard.
Our last visit was in October 2021 during half term. We parked up with my in-laws and our daughter had a brilliant time playing cricket, boules and flying a kite.
There's usually camper vans parked up, lots of dog walkers and children playing in the sand - without it being busy.
The beach car park is Pay & Display. There are no toilets located here, just bins. There is a barrier at the entrance/exit and usually a sign advising when the car park will close for high tide.
